Application for adoption
Thank you for your interest in giving a cat or kitten a forever home. The following information is required so that we can assist you in the selection of your new furry companion. This form and a consultation with a member of our team is designed to help us determine if the adoption is in the animal’s best interest and to assist you in finding the cat most compatible with your lifestyle.
Adoption donation
Single cat – €190
Two cats – €330
The adoption fee contributes to the costs to vaccinate, microchip, FIV/Felv test, daily care and, in cats over 6 months of age, to spay / neuter. It also includes a health certificate for travel, deworm/deflea and Pet Passport. An additional fee for airline transport applies, depending on the airline and destination. Azores-Netherlands is anywhere from €39 to €100. A binding contract will be required to adopt the animal.
Foster to adopt programme
After becoming a pre-approved adopter, you can take the cat home for up to a month at no cost. We will provide the food, litter and vet care. At the end of the month, you can either complete the adoption or we will take the cat back. We can also extend the time if needed. Not all of our cats are suitable for the foster to adopt programme. This programme is only available in the Netherlands and Portugal.
